Those tunes all develop themes and images that belong in the realm of epilogue/ big showdown: many references and lines to the end, fire, “worlds collide”, explosion, facing final battles. ![]() Tunes that, by the way, are quite tight thematically. Which in turns explains why we have these “wild card” tunes in the playlists. And let them have fun exploring new characters or new ideas for the franchise. Which left some artistic agency to the writers and directors. All the rest, obviously, was not necessarily decided on when they started the ST. So, blueprint for Reylo as endgame, for sure. And I am sure that was all part of the plan.
